Hebru Brantley recently launched a solo exhibition in Tokyo’s Megumi Ogita Gallery entitled “GREAT DEBATE.” The rising Chicago-based artist presents new original paintings featuring his signature Fly Boy and Fly Girl characters that are set against colorful backdrops. Accompanying the acrylic on canvas works are hand-painted murals across the gallery’s walls and columns. A total of 12 pieces are on display.

Tour the “GREAT DEBATE” in the slideshow above and learn more about the exhibition by visiting Megumi Ogita’s website. The show will conclude on June 1.
