The exhibition at 3110NZ explores the idea of emancipation and the nature of freedom. In two of the works, Brantley's characters are seen with arms folded, firmly standing their ground. In another two works, his characters are seen soaring with momentum, purpose and determination. Together they challenge the viewer to contemplate the idea of freedom and change. They explore the notion of waiting for change versus being the change within the world that one wishes to see.
